A note from the house
The hottest month, the coolest room. Khus screens are hung wet in Indian windows so the wind through them smells green; that coolness, with the camphor air of Blue Mallee eucalyptus. Smooth, without a single hard edge.
Made most often for summer bedrooms.

The story
Khus is the root of a grass; in Indian summers its woven screens are hung in windows and kept wet so the wind through them smells cool and green.
Blue Mallee eucalyptus from Victoria's dry country is the sharpest eucalyptus there is, all camphor and air. Seta is the silkiest Désir.
Light it in the hottest month, in the coolest room in the house.
