A note from the house
The closest a candle comes to being worn. Light it after a bath and the room smells the way skin does in the heat: Madurai jasmine, opened in the evening, kept bright by lemon myrtle.
Made most often as a gift to oneself.

The story
Madurai malli is the jasmine of temple garlands and wedding hair, picked in the evening when it opens. It is a skin scent, warm and slightly animal.
Lemon myrtle is a Queensland rainforest leaf that smells more of lemon than lemon does. It keeps the jasmine from ever becoming heavy.
Light it after a bath. It is the closest a candle comes to being worn.
